Iron Bonsai’s are hand bent steel sculptures
that resemble a plant or flower.
Steel scrolling is the art of a strongman.
The name “Iron Bonsai” comes from John Brookfield, grip master and professional strongman. With his blessing, the tradition is carried on here by strength & conditioning specialist Dan Cenidoza.
It takes years of dedication to grip training and hand strength
to be able to bend steel like this.
After the steel is bent, the scroll is painted and mounted
and the artwork is complete.
